Consumer Terms of Sale
Please read these terms carefully before placing your order and retain a copy for future reference.
1. Contract Formation
1.1 These terms apply to all goods supplied by www.KidsRideOnSpares.co.uk, a trading name of Vervevault Ltd, registered office: 85 Great Portland Street, 1st Floor, London, W1W 7LT. Company number: 15340574 (“the Supplier”).
1.2 A contract between you and the Supplier is only formed once your order has been accepted.
1.3 Order confirmation does not constitute acceptance. We reserve the right to cancel an order if:
- Items are unavailable
- Pricing errors occur
- Payment is not successfully received
1.4 The contract is subject to your cancellation rights (see Section 7).
1.5 We reserve the right to update these terms at any time for future orders.
2. Product Description & Pricing
2.1 Product descriptions and prices are displayed on our website at the time of ordering.
2.2 All items are subject to availability. If a product becomes unavailable:
- We may cancel your order
- A full refund will be issued
2.3 If a pricing error is identified:
- You will be contacted with the correct price
- You may confirm or cancel your order
- If no response is received within 14 days, the order will be cancelled
2.4 Delivery charges may apply and are clearly shown at checkout.
2.5 We operate a direct supply and dispatch model, allowing us to offer a wide range of spare parts. All customer support (pre and post-sale) should be directed to us.
3. Payment
3.1 Payment must be made in full before dispatch using the methods available on our website.
3.2 Orders will not be dispatched until cleared funds are received.
3.3 Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of your order.
4. Delivery
4.1 Orders will be delivered to the address provided at checkout (UK delivery unless otherwise stated).
4.2 Orders placed before 1:00pm (working days) are typically processed the same day.
4.3 Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on:
- Stock availability
- Supplier lead times
- Courier delays
4.4 If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect details or failed delivery attempts:
- We may charge storage or redelivery fees
- Goods may be resold if unclaimed
4.5 We are not liable for delays outside of our control.
Important Delivery Conditions
- All packaging must be retained in case of returns or warranty claims
- Check goods upon delivery for damage or missing items
- Any damage must be clearly noted on the delivery receipt
- Terms such as “unchecked” or “unexamined” are not accepted
⚠️ Damage or shortages must be reported within 48 hours
Failure to follow these steps may result in claims being declined.
Technical Disclaimer
Many products are electrical components. Basic knowledge may be required for installation. We cannot always diagnose issues remotely due to individual setup variations.
5. Risk & Ownership
5.1 Goods become your responsibility upon delivery.
5.2 Ownership remains with the Supplier until full payment has been received.
6. Business Customers (Retention of Title)
6.1 Business customers must:
- Store goods separately and clearly identifiable
- Not damage packaging or labels
- Maintain and insure goods
6.2 Ownership rights may be revoked if:
- Insolvency occurs
- Goods are used as collateral
7. Your Right to Cancel
7.1 You may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods (consumer customers only).
7.2 Cancellation must be made in writing (email or website contact). Phone requests are not sufficient.
7.3 If goods are returned:
- You are responsible for return costs (unless faulty)
- Items must be unused and in original packaging
7.4 Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving returned goods.
7.5 If goods are not returned correctly, recovery costs may be charged.
Return Costs Guide
- Items under 30kg: approx. £15–£25
- Items over 30kg: £100–£200 (pallet delivery)
8. Warranty & Faults
8.1 All goods include a 7-day warranty unless stated otherwise.
8.2 Warranty excludes:
- Wear and tear
- Misuse or incorrect installation
- Water damage
- Unauthorised repairs
Fault Reporting
- Delivery damage must be reported within 48 hours
- Faults must be reported within 14 days of discovery
Repair & Replacement
- Faulty items may be repaired or replaced
- Return shipping within 7 days may be covered
- After 7 days, return costs may be the customer’s responsibility
Consumable Parts Warranty
The following are considered consumables and include a 30-day warranty:
- Batteries
- Chargers
- Motors
- Remote controls
- Wheels
Manufacturing Disclaimer
Some items may have minor cosmetic marks due to manufacturing processes. These do not affect performance and are not considered faults.
Usage & Maintenance
- Products are for dry use only unless stated otherwise
- Water damage is not covered
- Regular maintenance is required
- Neglect or misuse voids warranty
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 We are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of business or profit
9.2 Nothing excludes liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraudulent misrepresentation
10. Data Protection
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but cannot be held liable for unauthorised access unless due to negligence.
11. Product Images
Images are for illustration purposes only and may vary from actual products.
Legal
These terms are governed by English law.
Consumers in Scotland may opt for Scottish jurisdiction.
